Ok so earlier I posted on here saying that I would not be starting today but after looking online for recipes and more inspiration I decided that a little toothache shouldn’t stop me.
And so at the back of 8 at night I powered on through, I decided to do ab ripper x first because i knew I wouldn’t do it after an hour of pull-ups and push-ups. I took some advice from this forum post about how you shouldn’t try and do the full 25 reps and I only did 10 of each but even that was murder. My core muscles certainly felt it believe me.
After a wee five minute break and time to set up I went straight into Chest & Back. For the pull-ups I had to use a chair, they are really hard and even using the chair I struggled but I managed to do 5 reps for each so was happy with that. Push-ups don’t even get me started I was grunting and swearing trying to do some of them. What is up with the dive-bombers and diamond push-ups? I had to pause it and go very slowly which is annoying but I wanted to do 5 reps of each just to make it even. The weight part of it was easy enough and i struggled on the last few reps like Tony Horton says you should.
Overall I’m very pleased with what I’ve done today, and through-out the whole workout I didn’t think about my toothache once, and now that I’m sitting here its sore again *sigh*. Well I’m away for a shower and to find me some ibuprofen.
P.S if anyone is looking to do you should defo go to this forum http://www.weightloss-hq.biz/ its got a lot of information on it about the program and its also got lots of people who are going through it together.
I went through the website and it really does have a lot of cool information, thank you for sharing it.
