Day 0.... Again

So Ive not been on this since the start of May I think. Just want to say sorry about that especially to people who continued to view this daily. I don't really know what happened, I just got lazy again which sucked. Since I stopped working out Ive felt horrid, Ive sat around on my days off and not done much except play video games and eat junk food.

I did give myself a bit of an excuse, I fractured my left foot the middle part and it was giving me a lot of problem both at work because of being on my feet constantly and in the house were I needed to take the pressure off. I'm going to the doctors sometime this week to see if its ok and if anything else needs to get done, fingers crossed everything is ok.

For the past week I have been slowly cutting my calorie intake and upping my green tea and healthy foods which has made me feel a whole lot better. I also got a scale so I can weight myself, and I did on Monday and since September last year (last time I weighted myself) I haven't put any weight on but I also haven't lost any. So I don't really know if that result is good or not.

I'm hoping to start working out soon, hopefully sometime this week but I will need to be something light and doesn't put much pressure on my foot, maybe the static bike Ive got.

Oh and because I still don't feel like I'm getting a handle on my nutrition I'm thinking in joining weight watchers will my mother. Have any of you been to weight watchers? I hear good things about it but not too sure.

Work Dragging Me Down

Sorry Guys

Work has been sucking the life out of me the past few weeks, between 10 hour shifts and last minute changes Ive been run off my feet. Not had a chance to do things, like working out, going shopping and even seeing some of my family. On my breaks I have been reading some of your blogs, but my stupid phone wont let me sign in to comment or anthing. Hopefully next week things will calm down and I'll get back to normal.

For the most part I have been following my diet, except one day I did a 12 hour shift and I needed sugar to get me through.

New Month New Start

So its now May, boy does time fly. So Ive still got this rubbish cold/chest infection. Its mostly just a really chesty cough now but its still annoying. I'm getting fed up of being in bed and not doing anything, that's me also missed 3 days wages.

So since I feel a little bit better I'm going to restart my diet/exercise tomorrow. I'm thinking today as day 0 again :( because Ive been unwell since Monday Ive been eating chicken noodle soup a lot as it seems to be the only thing I can handle, that and nutella lol.

I'm going to do things differently this time round, only taking photos on day 0, 30, 60 and 90. I'm also listening to the audio book just now tat helped me last time quit smoking and I'm going to listen to it once a week, probably a Sunday. Also for Lent I gave up fizzy juice and sugar in my tea and coffee I'm just going to carry that on and only drink water, I'm also going to drink more water.

No more sweets and chocolate, and If I do want anything like that I can only have it once a week. Also no more crisps, processed foods are going to be kept to a minimum. I'm also going to try and cook all my meals from scratch and maybe bulk make them and just freeze something for ease. Sticking to the diet nutrition plan of the program was really hard for me but I'm going to use myplate or something similar to track my calories.

Well I think I'm just rambling on just now, so Ill leave it there. I'm going to go listen to my book and play Pokemon.

P90x Day 29: Chest, tricep and shoulders + Ab Ripper X

So Ive lost my laptop charger at my bros house, so annoying so posting this from my different comp. Did today and it felt like the first day all over again, two week without ab ripper almost killed me. But I did it I complete the number of reps that the Kids do. I did need to pause a few times and catch my breath but it was ok after I finished.

Now Chest, Triceps and Shoulders was a different matter I was fucked 10 mins into the darn thing. Could barely do anything, I was so happy with my results of the third week being able to do 15 push-ups. In the first workout having to do 12 slow ones was murder I had to go down to my knees for the military ones. For the weighted exercises I went back down to 2.5. So wasn't very happy but it is the first week of the 2nd phrase so I don't mind much.

So I'm off, one of my neighbor bought me a bottle of champagne for my 21st and I must say after drinking it I don't like it. I hate wine and now I hate champagne, never tried it before now and I thought it would be different to wine but it ain't.

If you guys want to see my pictures that I uploaded today then go on to my photobucket account, Ive uploaded today's pictures just to see the difference two weeks have done. Ive gained INCHES!!!!! its a disaster but I'm looking past it and looking to the future were I am healthy and loving myself.

Update

So after talking to my boyfriend about my disappoinment about not working out for a week and also to the people that commented I have decided to start tomorrow as week 5 day 29.

I think that I realized that I'm kind of scared and lacking in motivation that I need to keep me going. So for a few hours I browsed the beachbody website and the weight-loss website that I previously mentioned and after getting some inspiration I am raring to go again.

Opinions


For the last week I havent exercised at all, sure enough Ive been moving and doing things that I would normally do, like at work or when I went to my brothers chasing after the kids all day. I just feel like Ive let myself down and feel like I should maybe restart the program from the beginning.

Away for a few days

So you are probably wondering why I haven't posted anything in a few days, well I have actually been visiting some relatives. I came to my brothers house for a few days because since he moved away I haven't actually visited yet and decided since I had a week off of work I would take the opportunity to visit. I hope to get back sometime today, and start posting regularly either tonight or tomorrow.

Birthday Weekend

So I haven't posted on here since Wednesday I think, not too sure but anyway I'm posting now. Yesterday was my birthday the big 21! I did however pigout quite a bit this week, which I'm not too pleased about. On Saturday I got drunk after work, few beers and a couple of vodkas. On Sunday I got wasted on Budweiser, lambrini, vodka and whiskey. Got a Chinese for dinner, sweet and sours chicken balls and fried rice. It was so lovely. Had a bit of my birthday cake, just the icing mind. Then today Ive been drinking lots of Irn Bru, had a big cup full of fanta too. Got a chicken royale with cheese and large fries, also half a chocolate cheesecake out of farmfoods.

Having this amount of alcohol and food and seriously fucked me up! I feel like crap, that might just be the hangover but I also think its the amount of sugar and fat, not had sugar since ash Wednesday so it was a lot for my system to handle.

So starting tomorrow I'm back on a strict diet and Ill start working out again.

Oh and I got a 3ds for my birthday wohoo

P90x Day 28: Stretch X

So I've taken today as a rest day, I'm just so tired from work. I was suppose to start at 5 today but got phoned in the morning and had to go in straight away. I'm not going to go into it all, I've already ranted away to the other half but it was a very hard and frustrating day. Especially at certain people in my department but there is nothing I can do now.

I'm so exhausted it unbelievable so I've decided to skip this stretch day and just take it as a rest day. Tomorrow I start a brand new workout so I am looking forward to it a lot. I've been missing my strength exercises this week.

I can believe its almost my 30 day picture time, I honestly cant believe I've come this far. Never though I would be here 4 weeks in. I'm going to sleep now, its my day off tomorrow, my phone is getting switched off and I'm going to get up early do all the things that I need to and get on with my workout. I'm actually exited!

P90x Day 27: Yoga X

Work was very stressing lots to do and not a lot of time to do it in. I had to stay late at work to get at least a good portion of the work done. So  came in from work really late, tired and really not wanting to do the workout at all, especially for a hour and a half.

I did get myself off my ass after a while and got into my workout clothes and started. I only did the first part of the workout so I've promised myself that I will make up the poses part some other time. I was just so tired after all the downward dogs and leg raises that I gave up and crawled into bed and fell instantly asleep.

P90x Day 26: Core Synergistics

This workout was hard, this is the first time that I've done this particular one. IT consisted mostly of rolling around on the floor, much to the annoyance of my cat who kept trying to jump over me. A lot of the time I had to watch Tony and the "Kids" do the moves a few times then rewind it and try it myself. Which was a bit of a pain in the backside but Ill get used to it eventually, I think I need to do it most recovery weeks I've forgotten so Ill need to look at my workout sheets to see.

It felt weird after almost a week working out my core muscles like that, I'm so used to doing Ab ripper x three times a week and then just stopping.  Not looking forward to having to pick that back up again at the end of this week.

Well I'm going to go and watch some TV since I can for once, not in work until tomorrow night so going to lazy about until I have to go to sleep.

If any of you guys are wanting to start P90x and have any questions about it then don't hesitate to ask, I do read your comments I just don't have enough time to respond back, which makes me kind of sad. But yeah, If you have any questions then ask away, I don't know if I will be able answer then all correctly. I'm not a fitness nut after all but I might be able to point you in the right direction.

P90x Day 25: Stretch X

Today was the first day off since the beginning of the week it was sooooooo good. Managed to get dinner at a reasonable time, managed to read some of my followers blogs. Managed to have a nice shower, watch some firefly and serenity and be lazy as hell today. All the things I wanted to do today I just didn't, I've not felt so tired this week since the busy Christmas period at work. Its all good though, next Sunday I'll have a full week of because I'm on holiday for my birthday when Ill be 21!!!

P90x Day 24: Kenpo X

So I'm just finished Kenpo X, and Im am sweating like crazy!

I forget just how much you sweat while doing this workout, I probably sound like a parrot just repeating this over and over again.I always forget going into this one just how intense it is.

P90x Day 22: Yoga

So Thursday was Yoga, still no major improvement with this workout. Still wobble, fall over and find it difficult to hold the poses for very long. I didn't do the full workout because I got in late from work, and was shattered. I did do as much as I could before I fell asleep.

P90x Day 21: Stretch X

Well today was stretch X I didn't do this workout this time, I opted to just do nothing. I had a hectic schedule at work, so I wouldn't even have had time to do a workout.

P90x Day 20: Kenpo X


So just finished Kenpo X and I'm sweating so much its unbelievable. Its like a sweat more and more as the weeks have been going past, maybe I'm just able to put more effort in. Still can't really keep up a lot of the time with the shouting and the doubles but I'm getting better, not with the coordination that's right out the window.

This is going to be a short post, I'm tired and needing my bed. Stretch X tomorrow and hopefully pictures and measurements, still can't find my tape so going to buy one at work.

P90x Day 19: Legs & Back + Ab Ripper X

So today was legs and back my least favourite of the P90x routines so far, its just so murder on my legs. It takes me all my time to do the moves still. I just hope that my the end of the 90 days it get a little bit better. The pull-ups are fine now, still struggle on the last few (still doing 15 assisted). After the rest week I'm hoping to maybe do  1 unassisted, if I get to 5 by the end of the program I will be so happy.

P90x Day 18: Yoga X

Yoga was good today, a lot better than last week that's for sure. Got through the entire workout without getting frustrated. I'm still wobbling and finding it difficult doing some of the moves including the plough and crane but its enjoyable again.

I've been reading a lot of people comments on the weight-loss forum I visit about Yoga X and how people don't find that it gets any easier.

Well I am away to go watch wrestlemania.

P90x Day 17: Shoulders & Arms + Ab Ripper X


 So today I actually had a nice lie in, and didn't get up out of bed until I had to. I was super lazy today before work. I waited until I got home to do my workout, don't really know why, it was just one of those days that I couldn't be bothered getting out of bed at all.

So I began with Ab Ripper as usually, it was slightly better but not easy. I still struggle more towards the end of the entire workout.

P90x Day 16: Plyometrics

So today was the last of the dentist, and now I am pain free, wohoo. But at a cost, a cost of £97 which I was shocked at but its worth it to be pain free.

So today was plyo day and I must say it went rather well. I can now do the first 30 minutes with relative ease, I still struggle with the getting my knees up like on the jump knee tucks and the rock star hops. I also can keep up with the kids as much nearer the end of the routine but it is getting better.

P90x Day 15: Chest & Back + Ab Ripper X

Hi guys, hope you are all feeling good today cause boy am I.

Got up nice and early for the dentist, which was good she says it should be fine and she filled it back up with some stuff, don't know what it is. Still to go back tomorrow to continue with the root canal thing. Woke up with no pain this morning so was just going to leave going to the dentist, but she said that it was best that I did because it could have hurt my tongue if I slide it past it the wrong way.

P90x Day 14: Stretch X

Ah today I really needed this, my muscles felt really sore and tight. Especially after the crappy week I've had. Well I'm off to bed, got the dentist first thing in the morning, then work at night. I don't start until 6pm so should be able to get a workout done, tomorrow is chest and back so should be easy enough.

Tomorrow I will post a few pictures ( I think) and I will be posting my stats up, measurements and whatnot.

P90x Day 13: Kenpo X

So I did this yesterday, but didn't write about it on this. I went to the dentist yesterday, well you already know this because of my rant earlier. Halfway through the dental appointment my work phoned and asked me to come in later on in the day. So after the dentist I went home and completed Kenpo X with a half numb face.

Kenpo was still a disaster, coordination wise. I still had to pause the dvd and do the moves a few time and ask my boyfriend if he thought i was doing it correctly. I really, really need to have a mirror in front of me I think.
Tony is right when he says that it will be over before you realise it and you'll be drenched in sweat. I took a five second break to get the sweat out of my eyes it was half way over and then the next time I stopped it was to begin the cool down.

So even though I ain't getting any better at the moves I feel like I'm able to go for a bit long than last week while doing cardio.

Dentist

Don't you just hate the dentist, I've always never minded going to them and getting poked and prodded with drills and suction things. Yesterday I went to the dentist to get a root canal started. She drilled into the tooth and cleaned the roots out and then packed it and covered it back over.

I Then had to go to work (someone phoned in sick) with half my face being numb. Then I woke up this morning with half of the tooth in my mouth, almost the entire back of it has fell out, so now I'm more than likely going to have to get it ripped out, which I didn't want in the first place. I'm not paying money to get it fixed and then just end up having to get it pulled in the first place, Oh I'm raging and its also really painful!!!!!

Rant over! I'm away to go do Stretch X, I'll post more later and also about yesterdays workout Kenpo X

*Update* Phoned and got an appointment for tomorrow at 12. So until then I'm going to take lots of pills and sleep hopefully, because I know I wont be able to tonight.

P90x Day 12: Legs & Back + Ab Ripper X

So today I woke up nice and early went to the dentist came back home and fell asleep. Silly comfortable bed looking so inviting, woke back up at the back of 3. I hate it when that happens don't you?

I also went to the opticians and got the all clear, I have perfect 20/20 vision so was super happy about that. I don't think I would suit glasses to be honest, but If I needed them then so be it I would have just had to make them work.

P90x Day 11: Yoga X

Yoga wasn't so relaxing this week not one bit, I struggled with just about everything. My ankles were hurting my wrists, just about everything. I was so frustrated at one point I just turned the darn thing off, went and got my protein drink and waited until I'd calmed down. I seriously don't know what was going on today. Maybe because I've missed a few days out? Hmm really confused by the matter.

P90x Day 10: Shoulders & Arms + Ab Ripper X

Like usual I started my workout with Ab Ripper X, it wasn't as hard as last time but I still found it murder on my Ab area. I still stuck with doing 15 reps of each workout which seems to be begin going well.

Shoulders and arms didn't go that well. It took a lot out of me, I really struggled with a few of the moves especially the flip-grip twist ones, those were murder. I upped my weights to 3.5 a boy did I feel the difference. As I said I did struggle but I felt like I could cope with the added weight as long as I kept my mind blank and only concentrate on what I was doing.

Update For the Week

So I haven’t posted anything in a little while, and to tell you the truth I didn't have enough time. I didn't even have enough time to do my work out the past two days. I’ve got some sort of cold also which has had me in bed whenever I've not been at work. Even at work I was sluggish and couldn't be bothered doing anything. Something that would take me a hour to do during a normal shift took me my whole shift to do. The reason that I still went into work I that I can afford to take any more sick days.

So today is pay day and I really couldn’t be bothered to go any were, or doing anything. However when I woke up this morning, I realized that my nose jewelery had come out during the night and I couldn’t find my other one to put in. So I got ready and went away to the nearest piercing place to get a new one. Got back home and the damn thing won’t go it. It’s already closed up, and I'm not in the mood to be forcing it in, it’s bleeding too much just gently putting it. So I am really pissed off at that.

When I was out I finally managed to get to Holland and barrettes and purchased some whey protein, it’s this one here. I got the banana flavour, because I like banana milkshake and I’m not too keen on chocolate or strawberry. They did have cookies and cream but wasn’t too sure about that one either I also got a bottle which was a fiver, wasn't really expecting it to cost that much but well. To try it I first mixed it with water but it doesn't taste nice with the water so tomorrow I’ll try it with milk and see how it tastes. It says on the back you can mix it with juice or yogurt but that should kind of disgusting.

Ok so you keep asking so I took really quick photos just there to shut you guys up while I get better ones done, the flash on my phone sucks!!! As you can probably see. You can't really see everything but you'll all just have to deal with it just now.

So I'm off to go do Shoulders & Arms, Ab Ripper X and maybe even Yoga, I’ll see how I feel after shoulders & arms.

P90x Day 9: Ploymetrics

So I woke again today a bit later than I would have liked considering today was a cardio day, I did however still manage to do Plyometrics.

I knew that this wasn't going to get any easier and it wasn't. During some of the moves I felt like I was going to pass out or be sick, it was not good. I still can't seem to get my knees up that much, but I'm hoping to improve over time.

Well its just a quick one today, I am shattered. Today was a really busy day at work, every 3 weeks its like it. Can't wait until Friday Payday!!! Oh that reminds me, the dentist phoned while I was in the middle of plyo (I was hyperventilating practically on the phone to the poor receptionist, she must have thought something was happening to me) and my dentist is having to attend a funeral on Friday so I had to get the appointment re-arranged. So I need to wait until Monday to go now.

Well I'm away off to bed, got to repeat all of today tomorrow again I am looking forward to shoulders and arms.

For those who ask about pictures going up, they will be going up hopefully on Friday or even Thursday, I just need the time to upload them the way I want and resize them. I don't have the time for that just now but they are coming.

P90x Day 8: Chest & Back and Ab Ripper X

Ok so as you can see I just missed out day 7 because it was only stretching and also I like to keep my start of the week a Monday.

I woke up early today but still didn't seem to have enough time before work so I just watched Jeremy Kyle and drank tea all until I had to go to work. Work was long and hard, didn't have a minute to myself and went the full shift without a break. Luckily the girl on night shift came in 20 minutes early and let me have a wee cup of coffee to perk myself up. So I didn't have anything to eat all day which is really bad, but I had a good dinner when I came home.

After having my dinner and watching the start of firefly that the boyfriend recently re-got I got my exercise equipment and outfit on. Oh the company that I work for just recently got together with another company to promote each other (or something like that) and they were giving away free t-shirts so I've got myself a brand spanking new workout top wohoo!

As usually I did ab ripper x to begin with, and this time as its the start of a new week I increased the reps for each by 5. It may not seem a lot but it was for me, it was like day 1 again. However this time I really enjoyed it. For chest and back I also increased the reps for the non weighted ones, the pull-ups and push-ups. So that's me doing 10 assisted pull-ups and 10 push-ups (off of my knees, I've never liked that way just seems pointless). For the weighted ones I forgot to increase the weight of each dumbbell so I'll need to remember to do that for shoulders & arms. I feel like a weakling because for each dumbbell its only 2.5kg of weight so I feel like I should be increasing it.

I thought it would have been a lot harder doing 5 more reps, and I was right, but its what I set out to accomplish with today's workout. I'm going to slowly increase the reps then I'm going to go for the really hard modded version, like adding the arms up or raising a leg. At the end of the workout I actually had a smile on my face it was fantastic, I love P90x.

Even at work after only a week of doing it I could feel the difference in my posture when lifting things, bending over or general just walking around.

Well I'm going to go now, because I am really tired. I've got another long day ahead of me tomorrow so wish me luck!

P90x Day 6: Kenpo X

Boy am I glad I downloaded that Heart rate monitor app, cause Kenpo X certainly gets you blood pumping.

Alot of the time it was up at 175 so I had to stop and let it settle down abit, it got that bad at a point I could hear my heart in my ears and there was white spots in front of my eyes. I actually stopped 10 minutes early and I'm sitting down trying to type this. I thought Plyo was hard!

There is like 5 minutes to go in the Celtic V Rangers game so I'm going to go watch Rangers get humped yet again and then I'm going to do X-Stretch. All my muscles are really tight so I think I could use a good stretch.

Just thought I'd post something before I start my workout, I was on this blog Jrock Review and I just had to listen to this song. I just love this song, its totally fantastic the only thing I hate is that it isn't on spotify.

Next Week

So next week is going to be really hard for me. At work I do shifts and sometimes they are early mornings, late evening or sometimes even nightshift. Yesterday I phoned work to get my shift for this week, and I got my manager and so he got me to do 40 hours this week. For the past month I've only been doing 14 at most, and Ive also had 2 weeks holiday. 

The only day off I've got is Friday (Payday!!!!), but Friday is my dentist visit. Its mostly 2-10 I'll be working but I'm rubbish at getting up early so its going to be hard to do the workouts each day. I think I need to get some sort of organizer for myself so that I know what I've to do each hour of the day lol. 

Well I'm going to go get something to eat then do Kempo, which I'm not really looking forward to. I also downloaded a app for my htc to see what my heart rate is. They keep going on about being "in the zone" but I couldn't afford a heart rate monitor so this is the closest I'm going to get.

P90x Day 5: Legs & Back and Ab Ripper X

Ever had your legs feel like jelly, like they are just going to come away from you at any second but you need to keep going? Perhaps you've felt that way while running, swimming or just anything really. Well I felt like this on the first workout. By the end of the balanced lunges I had to sit down. I knew this workout would be bad but never like this. I powered on through after a few minutes and found that they all got easier after that initial pain.

So you are probably wondering why I never updated yesterday, well I was in bed all day coughing, sneezing and general being unwell. I felt like I couldn't get out of bed, today I still feel crappy but it isnt going to get any better for a few days knowing me! So I didn't do my workout yesterday but I dragged myself out of bed and powered on through.

So I started off with Ab Ripper X as usually and still just done my 10 of each workout, next week I plan to up it by 5. When I got onto Legs & Back managed to keep up with "The Kids" somewhat. The only thing that I couldn't keep up with was the various pull-up moves I could only managed 10 of each assisted which is 5 more than Monday so I was pleased as punch with that.

P90x Day 4: Yoga X

Ok so that me just finished Yoga X and I really feel like I need a nap, is that bad? Lol During it I was sweating, wobbling and tipping over every few seconds but as soon as I sat down with a nice cup of tea I suddenly felt so unbelievably tired. Hopefully I’ll have an early night then. 

So The first half of the video was brutal, my arms were shaking so much every time I was in downward dog and I could barely swing my leg into runners pose so I had to keep grabbing my ankle. It must have looked so weird because I could hear my boyfriend sniggering behind me as he was playing his games. 

The second part where you have to hold all the poses, I nearly turned it off on many occasion. I couldn’t do any of them especially hold them but I still tried and I guess that's all that matters just now its "Keep Pushing Play" as Tony Horton repeatedly says throughout the other videos.

Ok well I’m off to go have a shower and something to eat. I'd just like to say thank you to everyone that has been posting comments of encouragement it means a lot to me, usually by now I would have already given up. So thanks guys!

P90x Day 3: Shoulders & Arms + Ab Ripper X

When I woke up this morning my muscles that I used on Mondays workout for Chest & back were sore so I was a bit anxious about doing this workout because it looked like I would need to use those muscles again.

Like before I started off with Ab Ripper X, I didn't expect myself to be any better since Monday and I wasn't disappointed it was just as hard. I still only managed 10 of each exercise but I'm quite pleased with that, just glad that I could in fact do 10 of each with my muscles being so sore.

I then moved on to Shoulders & Arms and I quite enjoyed this, its my favourite workout so far. I enjoyed all the different moves, Some were easy some were hard and I had to rewind the video a few times just to make sure I was doing it the right way. I managed to do 15 reps of each and 16 reps on the ones he said. some of them I really struggled from the 10 onwards mark so Ill need to see about what weights I'm using and some I think ill need to add more onto. The thing is I only have two spindle things (don't really know what they are called) so it will be difficult stopping and changing the weight on each. This is why I was wanting to get resistance bands but unfortunately there just too expensive just now.

Recipe Creamy Spaghetti and Crispy Bacon

So this is the dinner that I made last night, it serves 4 people. It only take roughly 20 minutes to make all together.

1. Cook 400g of spaghetti, following the packets instructions
2. Meanwhile, cut 300g of bacon up into strips of little squares whatever you like. Fry it in a little oil until crispy. Remove from the pan when done and set aside on a plate.
3. in the same frying pan you just removed the bacon from fry 1 onion that's been diced, 1 clove of garlic that's been peeled and sliced, for 3-4 minutes. Return the bacon to the pan and add a handful of spinach leaves, 1 egg yolk, 75ml of single cream and 75ml of milk. Stir well until hated throughout. Remove from the heat and add the cooked spaghetti to the pan, stir well and serve.

Its got quite a lot of fat in it. One serving is 779 calories, 39.2g fat, 20.9g of saturated fat, 3.5g salt and 8.3g sugar. So I wouldn't go making this on a nightly bases. If anyone makes this tell me how it went and if you enjoyed it.

P90x Day 2: Plyometrics

Can I just say that this nearly gave me a heart attack!

This was murder, I was panting and hyperventilating. I had to stop countless time but I kept on going even when I thought I was going to be sick. I'm not looking forward to this workout next week at all. I just hope that none of the rest are as bad as this or I'm not going to make it too the second week.

The only thing that was good about this was the afterwards when I went in for a shower it felt brilliant after sweating so much.

Update For Yesterday

So on Monday I mentioned that I had the toothache, well I managed to get to the dentist yesterday and they've sorted out the pain. Last night I had one of the best sleeps I’ve had since the pain started so it was wonderful.

A lot of things happened yesterday, went to the dentist (ill have to go back for the next few weeks), did my exercise video (but ill blog about that later), made a fantastic dinner which tasted amazing but was kind of fattening. I went round to my mothers and got to see my brother who lives quite a bit away for a little while. Also helped my boyfriend flash his xbox, so all in all it was a rather good and busy day. So that’s my excuse of not posting something yesterday so sorry guys!

P90x Day 1: Chest & Back + Ab Ripper

Ok so earlier I posted on here saying that I would not be starting today but after looking online for recipes and more inspiration I decided that a little toothache shouldn’t stop me.

And so at the back of 8 at night I powered on through, I decided to do ab ripper x first because i knew I wouldn’t do it after an hour of pull-ups and push-ups. I took some advice from this forum post about how you shouldn’t try and do the full 25 reps and I only did 10 of each but even that was murder. My core muscles certainly felt it believe me.

Wont be starting today

So I won’t be starting my P90x journey today unfortunately, I have really bad toothache and I'm painkiller’d up to my eyeballs. I've got an appointment for the dentist tomorrow so hopefully by maybe even tomorrow night I’ll be able to start it.

Beginning of a new me!

So about 4 weeks ago I stopped smoking and decided that I needed to get in shape again. I’ve not done any proper exercise for roughly 4-5 years about the same amount of time I had been smoking. So I looked online and found this  P90x workout program.I looked for hours online for review and videos off peoples results on YouTube and was amazed and thought to myself "If I can give up smoking then I can certainly do this" and so I purchased it.
